MORNING MESSAGE

Leaning is life-long. God never stops teaching His way. Think of it: there have been and are today, billions of people alive on the earth, and each one of us has a story. Each story has certain similar elements, but each is different and unique. And God has established His way to handle every situation in every life. He loves to teach His ways to His children in every circumstance they encounter. We have so very much to learn!

"Moses called all the people of Israel together and said, “Listen carefully, Israel. Hear the decrees and regulations I am giving you today, so you may learn them and obey them!"
Deuteronomy 5:1 NLT

Learn to hear. Learn to obey.

“When he sits on the throne as king, he must copy for himself this body of instruction on a scroll in the presence of the Levitical priests. He must always keep that copy with him and read it daily as long as he lives. That way he will learn to fear the Lord his God by obeying all the terms of these instructions and decrees."
Deuteronomy 17:18-19

Learn to fear [give reverent respect] to the Lord our God through obedience to His word.

“And Solomon, my son, learn to know the God of your ancestors intimately. Worship and serve him with your whole heart and a willing mind."
1 Chronicles 28:9a NLT

Learn to recognize His voice in your heart and mind - His unique approach to you. Which thoughts are from Him? Which thoughts are from the enemy? Learn and remember.

"Then they will learn that You alone are called the Lord, that You alone are the Most High, supreme over all the earth."
Psalm 83:18 NLT
Through all our sin and rebellions, through all worldly knowledge and riches, learn that God is in complete control. He is still God, no matter what the world has to offer or what powers man thinks he has. God has more. God knows more. God is more.

"Learn to do good; Seek justice, Rebuke the oppressor; Defend the fatherless, Plead for the widow."
Isaiah 1:17

"Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
Matthew 11:29-30

"It is written in the prophets, ‘And they shall all be taught by God.’ Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me."
John 6:45

It is God Who teaches us; His Holy Spirit brings understanding so that we may learn the ways and the will of God for our lives. Jesus paid for this free access to God the Father when He conquered all sin on the cross. He paid the entire price to open that access, where we can spend our time here talking to Him, listening to Him, and forever learning from Him. We are free to learn the Way, the Truth and the Life and walk in Him forever.
