I'm amazed at how many Bible heroes won victories, found answers and started new lives by starting early in the morning at some point. We have to give latitude for our present culture. Early in the morning according to a clock isn't possible for some; "early" signifies the first things you do in any given day.
Early morning is the birth of a new day; it may come to us at any time on a clock. Early morning represents spending your best energies of the day, beginning and pursuing God with all your heart. Sometimes we have to stand firm and protect that section of time in the day, no matter what the actual time is.
Jesus demonstrated how important a time alone with the Father is. It is essential for the health and well-being of our soul - it's a critical need to experience growth in God. We cannot draw closer to Him if we're distracted from Him.
It takes self-discipline and self-discipline requires that you have decided that you're worthy of personal success. Call on Him to strengthen your self-discipline to remain faithful to your time alone with Him.
He understands that our best energy and thinking is when we first get up from restful sleep. Let the Lord be first in your day. He has wonderful blessings to bestow on you - abundantly!
