MORNING MESSAGE

"Then one of the seven angels...said to me, “Come with me! I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.” So...he showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God.

"I saw no temple in the city, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. And the city has no need of sun or moon, for the glory of God illuminates the city, and the Lamb is its light.
"Nothing evil will be allowed to enter, nor anyone who practices shameful idolatry and dishonesty—but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
"No longer will there be a curse upon anything. For the throne of God and of the Lamb will be there, and His servants will worship Him. And they will see His face, and His name will be written on their foreheads.
Revelation 21:9-10,22-23,27,22:3-4 - NLT

It's good to look up and remind ourselves in these times that better things are coming. There will be no more sin or inclination to be tempted. No more of sin's effects will trouble anyone. Abominations will cease to exist or even be remembered. Look up! Praise God!

Jesus said "“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also." John 14:1-3

Note that He is not preparing mansions - they already exist. He's preparing a place for the mansions. What are "many mansions?"
The word mansion comes from a primary verb, "meno", meaning "abide, continue, dwell, endure".
"Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?
1 Corinthians 6:19
Mansions are us, abiding in Jesus. We are already in the Kingdom of God by our faith.
Jesus is preparing a place right now, for His perfected, incorruptible children to abide forever.

"Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?”
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."
John 14:4-6

Today, in this fracturing world, we are still the Temples of the Most High God. We have been given the gift of prayer - to talk to our Father be heard by Him - and He will act according to our faith. That is an awesome and powerful gift.

Make prayer the top priority every day; it is a vital ministry, critical in every sense of the word. Don't let the enemy cast a shadow over it's importance or make you too busy or too bored to pray. He knows it's power and effectiveness and works to hide that from us or distract us. Pray without ceasing! Commit to the core of the ministry of Jesus:

"...And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me."
