Morning Message
April 1, 2021
from Gayle Gordon

“What is man, that You should exalt him,
That You should set Your heart on him?" (Job 7:17)

"What is man that You are mindful of him,
And the son of man that You visit him?
For You have made him a little lower than the angels, and You have crowned him with glory and honor.
You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet" (Psalm 8:4-6)

"Lord, what is man, that You take knowledge of him? Or the son of man, that You are mindful of him?" (Psalm 144:3)

What is it about you? God loves you, personally and individually. What is it that makes Him mindful if you? He never forgets you; He never loses sight of you; He never leaves you. You cannot hide from His presence; His peace and His tender care. Psalm 139 expresses our amazement at the penetrating and persistent love our Father has for each of us. It's as personal and individual to each of us as we are from each other.

Yesterday closed the only month of March, 2021, that will ever exist. It's gone. Each of God's innumerable thoughts toward you yesterday are renewed and made fresh and pour over you today. Precious thoughts. Loving thoughts. Kind and healing thoughts pour over you today - and will be renewed every morning of your life.
"How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; When I awake, I am still with You."
(Psalm 139:17-18)

Prayers of confession sweep the room of your heart clean. The Lord never left you, even when you failed Him. Don't be reticent to confess; He will not punish you. He may gently correct you and will always teach you - but He is not a prison guard and you are not detained by your flaws and weaknesses. That's a lie from the enemy to your deepest being; let the light of the Holy Spirit shine on the worst of yourself that even you hide from. Let go of any lingering shame; sweep it out the door and be healed. You are the redeemed of the Lamb. You are free through Jesus Christ.

"This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for He faced all of the same testings we do, yet He did not sin.
So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive His mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most." (Hebrews 4:15-16 NLT)

"Because God’s children are human beings—made of flesh and blood—the Son also became flesh and blood. For only as a human being could He die, and only by dying could He break the power of the devil, who had the power of death. Only in this way could He set free all who have lived their lives as slaves to the fear of dying." (Hebrews 2:14-15 NLT)

Release anything hanging over your head, today. The issues you face are known to your Father; strengthen your confident trust in Him to see, hear and act according to His love for you. Release all those issues from being points of concern in praise and worship, knowing that
"Even there Your hand shall lead me, And Your right hand shall hold me." (Psalm 139:10)

“... I will make a new covenant...I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people." (Jeremiah 31:31,33).

Receive your Father's blessing on this new day!
