MORNING MESSAGE

"Praise the Lord!
Sing to the Lord a new song.
Sing His praises in the assembly of the faithful. O Israel, rejoice in your Maker.
O people of Jerusalem, exult in your King.
Praise His name with dancing, accompanied by tambourine and harp.
For the Lord delights in His people;
He crowns the humble with victory.
Let the faithful rejoice that He honors them.
Let them sing for joy as they lie on their beds.
Let the praises of God be in their mouths, and a sharp sword in their hands,
to execute vengeance on the nations and punishment on the peoples,
to bind their kings with shackles and their leaders with iron chains,
to execute the judgment written against them.
This is the glorious privilege of His faithful ones. Praise the Lord!"
Psalm 149:1-9 NLT

The nation of Israel and the people of Jerusalem is terminology that meant just what it says, in the day it was written; today, that nation and people are comprised of Christians of all peoples and races:
"For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise."
Galatians 3:26-29

So, according to Psalm 149, we are empowered to execute vengeance and punishment, bind with shackles and chains and to enact judgments - through and with our prayers and praises of our Father Almighty.
What power our prayers and praises have! God has given us complete victory over all the powers of satan, through the blood of Jesus. We are in battle; our praises and our prayers are doing massive damage to the kingdom of satan's powers.

"For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.
Ephesians 6:12 NLT

We are dethroning kings of evil principalities when we turn our hearts and minds toward Jesus Christ. He repeals every law written against us; expunges every record of sin, when we call on God to forgive us in the name and by the blood of our Savior. We are placed in a position of having His power over every weakness and failure in our own lives.

We Win.

Psalm 149 reminds us to stay in a state of praise to God; sing, play instruments, dance, even when we relax - praise God! You cannot defeat satan and his army that keeps harassing you, with a mind divided. Focus on God and keep Him on His throne.

"As your name deserves, O God, you will be praised to the ends of the earth. Your strong right hand is filled with victory."
Psalm 48:10 - NLT

He has won the victory over ever issue and concern you have; over every train of thought that causes you pain or darkness and every bad habit or ingrained "tradition" you gave yourself to. “Behold, I make all things new.” Revelation 21:5.

Activate your victory with praise. "Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name."
